How Discounts Work
Discounts reduce the original price of an item. A percentage discount is calculated on the original price. Multiple discounts can be applied sequentially, meaning the second discount is applied to the price *after* the first discount. Fixed amount discounts are simply subtracted from the price. Always factor in taxes and shipping for the true final cost!
Example: Stacked Discounts
If an item is ₹1000 with "20% off + extra 10%":
1. First discount: 20% of ₹1000 = ₹200. Price becomes ₹800.
2. Second discount: 10% of ₹800 = ₹80. Price becomes ₹720.
